The First Audi Supercar – The Audi Nuvolari
Introducing the Audi Nuvolari, the first Audi supercar with a high-performance hybrid powertrain. Limited to only 499 units, offering an incredible 1,001 PS and a top speed of over 350 km/h making the Nuvolari Audi’s fastest and most powerful production vehicle. Audi is really blending with the Formula 1 Spirit through technical innovation, a new design and efficient processes.
“In times of fundamental change, we are making bold strategic decisions,” says CEO Gernot Döllner. “The Audi Nuvolari brings pure emotion and performance to the road. It also reveals how we are taking ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ into a new era.”
Rouven Mohr, Member of the Board of Management for Technical Development, highlights the vehicle’s performance: “The Nuvolari is the first supercar from Audi with a high-performance hybrid powertrain, and it sets new standards with its aerodynamics and the world-first quattro predictive ride.”
The Audi Nuvolari represents uncompromising performance and relentless focus. Its name pays tribute to Tazio Nuvolari, one of motorsport’s most legendary figures.
As the first production model to fully embody Audi’s new design language, the Audi Nuvolari demonstrates a bold evolution in form. Defined by tight surfaces, clean lines, and a strong, sculptural presence, every element is intentionally designed to serve both function and aesthetic harmony. Inside, the cabin is centred entirely around the driver, offering a refined and sophisticated space dedicated to the driving experience. As Chief Creative Officer Massimo Frascella explains, “The Audi Nuvolari captures ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ in its purest, most dynamic expression: progress through technology.”
Engineered for those who demand the exceptional, the Audi Nuvolari stands for exclusivity, performance, and ultimate desirability. “With this model, we are consciously entering the high-performance segment and reinforcing Audi’s ambition to be the most desirable premium automotive brand,” says Marco Schubert, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing. Production will be strictly limited to 499 units, with deliveries set to begin in the first half of 2027.
The Audi Nuvolari brings advanced, Formula 1-inspired technology from the track to the road. Highlights include a high-performance hybrid powertrain, quattro predictive ride system, active aerodynamics, and a pioneering Audi Space Frame with a carbon exterior. The Audi Nuvolari exemplifies how Audi continues to transform innovation into tangible performance under the four-ring brand.
